Founded in 2015 and based in Beijing, China, Chindata Group Holdings Limited, formerly known as BCPE Bridge Stack Limited which merged with Bridge Data Centers in 2019, operates campus-style, hyper-scale data centers and offers information technology value-added solutions and ecosystem planning, design, testing, building, and operations. In September 2020, Chindata Group Holdings Limited was listed on NASDAQ. In July 2023, China Merchants Capital agreed to acquire Chindata Group Holdings Limited for CNY 3. 4 billion.
The company is engaged in providing its clients with business solutions in China, India, and Southeast Asia markets, including asset-heavy ecosystem chain services such as colocation and managed service, energy procurement and transmission, infrastructure service, IT and network service. It has two sub-brands: Chindata and Bridge Data Centers. Chindata Group Holdings Limited operates hyper-density IT cluster infrastructure in the Greater Beijing Area, the Yangtze River Delta Area, and the Greater Bay Area. It also provides airflow design, modular services, IEC AHU cooling modules, power distribution modules, and smart fiber pipeline modules.
