CeramTec provides over 10,000 varieties of advanced ceramic materials and components that are used to make products ranging from armor plates, bearing rollers, ball heads, dipping formers, centering pins, to circuit boards and inductor cores. The company's advanced ceramics have a variety of applications including medical technology - for making surgical implants used in medical surgery, and medical equipment; automotive, mobility, and E-mobility sectors - for creating resource-saving mobility solutions; and finally, electrical engineering and electronic applications - sensors, protective components, and actuators. As of 2021, CeramTec operates through its two segments: CT Medical (medical application products) and CT Industrial (industrial application products) and has a portfolio of material and product brands including Alotec, Alunit, Biolox, Ceramaseal, Ceramcool, Ceramdisc, Cyrol, Densilox, and Rocar, etc. In 2020, the company generated more than EUR 550 million in revenue.
