The company was founded by Dr. Zuoxiang Xiao, who obtained his doctoral degree in oncology from Zhejiang University and previously served at United States institutions including Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the U. S.
National Cancer Institute (NCI). In 2018, the company established a subsidiary in the United States. In 2022, CentryMed completed the Phase I clinical trial of DNV3, one of its core pipeline products targeting advanced/metastatic solid tumors and lymphomas. In September 2025, the company was converted into a joint stock company.
In February 2026, it raised approximately CNY 170. 10 million in strategic investment from GTJA Investment Group, Beijia Investment Management, Tailong VC, and other individual investors. In May 2026, CentryMed submitted an IPO application to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX), preparing for its upcoming IPO. CentryMed focuses on the development of targeted drugs for anti-malignant tumors and autoimmune diseases based on T-cell engager (TCE) and T-cell modulator (TCM) therapies.
The company has developed several pipeline products including DNV3, an advanced TCM targeting lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG-3), applied in treating advanced/metastatic solid tumors and lymphomas, and SMET12, a TCE drug candidate targeting EGFR-positive advanced solid tumors. The company generates revenue through developing candidate drugs for the treatment of solid tumors. The company will use the funding from GTJA Investment Group and other investors in February 2026 to support its research and development and industrialization process in the field of antibody drugs for oncology and autoimmune diseases.
