Based in Gujarat, India, and founded in 2020 by Shreyans Kokra, Canvaloop Fibre Pvt. Ltd. turns agricultural waste into textile fiber using cannabidiol and hemp fiber to manufacture products. In March 2026, CanvaLoop Fibre Private Limited raised INR 133 million in venture funding led by GVFL, with participation from Rockstud Capital.


As of November 2021, the company has 20 employees. Canvaloop Fibre Pvt. Ltd. product line includes anti-UV and anti-microbial HempLoop; NettleLoop sourced from Himalayan stinging nettle; Banloop, extracted from the stem of the banana plant; Pineloop, extracted from the leaves of pineapple; and various yarns such as cotton blend, modal blend, bamboo blend, and tencel blend.


The company has also introduced its own brand, Slow, that offers Himalayan hemp jeans. The company will use the March 2026 funding to expand production capacity, advance research and development in regenerative cellulose, and add team members to support growth.
