Canopy Care

Based in New York, US, and founded in 2017 by its CEO Lavi Kwiatkowsky, Canopy Care formerly known as Expain, operates as an intelligent care platform for oncology that powers an entire layer of interoperable software solutions. In March 2022, Canopy Care raised USD 13 million in series A funding led by new investor GSR Ventures, with participation from another new investor Samsung NEXT Ventures and individual investors. Returning inventor UpWest Labs also participated in the round. Canopy Care platform includes a full suite of electronic health-record integrated solutions such as remote patient monitoring, chronic and principal care management tools, oral oncolytic solutions, provides workflow tools, as well as automated reimbursement capture to help cancer centers continuously engage with their patients, streamline clinical workflows, and capture new reimbursement streams for their work.

The company powers an entire layer of interoperable software solutions over the EMR and practice management systems that enables providers to deliver care to more patients. The company will use the series A funding to make its platform a cancer treatment center across the US and recruit employees for its R&D center in Israel.
