In 2020, Calspan Technology Holding Corporation, the parent company of Calspan Corporation acquired Aero Systems Enginering, Inc. resulting in the new company operating as Calspan Aero Systems Engineering, Inc. (Calspan ASE). As of 2021, Calspan ASE staffs about 500 employees.


The company’s solutions include an Engine Test Cells facility to design, construct and support the facilities for all engine types across the product lifecycle, that is Calspan AeroSystems test cell products include engine test adapters, thrust stands/beds, trim balance, and vibration systems, throttles, mechanical systems such as air, fuel, and engine, and test nacelle equipment among others. Calspan FluiDyne supplies wind tunnel facilities, components, and test services and includes products such as high-temperature heat exchangers, hypersonic nozzles, model support systems, captive trajectory systems, and open jet diffuser systems among others. Additionally, the firm provides Calspna FluiDyne Aerodynamic Testing Services offering test rigs and subscale model building capacity for aerospace vehicles and propulsion systems such as aerodynamic rig testing, turbine engine component testing, test data analysis, and interpretation and reporting, as well as after-sale support such as facility support and preventive maintenance services, and test facility upgrades and product refurbishments.
