Founded in 1955 by José Luis Baños Perelló and based in Valencia, Spain, Caiba S. A. is a manufacturer of PET preforms and containers of different types of necks, sizes, and utilities for the food sector, household products, and personal hygiene. The headquarters of the company are located in the 23000 m2 plant.
In 2016, Nazca Capital acquired a 75% stake in Caiba SA. In 2020 the company acquired Pramix, a Toledo family company to extend its product range into PP and HDPE containers. In 2021, Caiba SA was acquired by Portobello Capital for EUR 110 million. As of 2020, the company serves over 800 clients and employs over 200 employees.
The company offers preforms in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and rPET and packaging for feeding, drinking, personal care, and home purposes such as 330ml sparkling drinking bottle, 1L iron water bottle, and 1L carbonated drink bottle among others. Additionally, the firm offers custom packaging solutions for water bottles, juice bottles, honey jars, sauces, oil and vinegar, wine, gels and soaps, dispensers, shampoos, air cleaners, and oral hygiene products among others. The company recorded annual revenue of USD 100. 71 million in 2019.
Post its acquisition of Pramix, the company plans to consolidate its national growth by investing in growing its client portfolio, the development and introduction of new materials, products, and formats, and entry into new market segments.
