Founded in 2021 as a spin‑off from Photoneo. Brightpick, provides AI-powered robots to automate order picking, dispatch, and stock management in warehouses. In November 2024, Brightpick raised venture debt funding. The round was part of a larger USD 12 million debt and Series A funding.
The company's flagship product, Brightpick Autopicker, is a mobile robotic system designed to pick and consolidate orders directly in warehouse aisles autonomously. The robot uses a two-tote design to retrieve storage totes from shelving and robotically pick items into an order tote. In addition to autonomously consolidating, the company offers dispatcher robots, which enable warehouses to automate post-pick order consolidation, buffering, and dispatch fully. The solution integrates seamlessly with existing warehouse management systems (WMS), further supporting operations without requiring major overhauls in facility design.
The company caters to industries including e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), e-grocery, and medical supply chains, aiming to optimise fulfilment speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The company will use the November 2024 funding to deploy its AI robots in the US.
