In February 2023, Bridgestone Corporation merged with Ascent Robotics Inc. The Bridgestone Group has approximately 130 production and development bases and conducts business in over 150 countries. The company supplies a wide range of tyres to customers, including tyres for passenger cars, light trucks, trucks, and buses, as well as tyres for aircraft, construction and mining vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and industrial vehicles. The firm also provides products such as automobile parts such as seat pads, conveyor belts, and seismic isolation rubber, as well as industrial materials and construction materials.


Bridgestone is also developing a rubber artificial muscle known as a rubber actuator.
