The company was co-founded by Stas Chijik (CEO), Ben Roshia, and Albert Akbashev. In July 2024, Billfold LLC raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding co-led by new investors BambuVentures, and Inertia Ventures. Individual and unspecified investors also participated in the round.

The firm’s products serve agencies, brands, events, festivals, music concerts, hospitality, hotels and bar, amusement, and live entertainment sectors. The company mainly offers cashless and contactless Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems, that are designed to support RFID, QR CODE, NFC, cash and bank cards, etc, aimed to improve the user experience in cashless transactions. The firm also provides access control systems, that allow operators and the company’s partners to know their clients, thereby driving more sponsorship ROI and on-the-spot service upgrades. Additionally, Billfold LLC also develops digital communication platforms that enable operators to interact with their guests and furthermore offers event data and real-time analytics through Billfold IQ.
