Based in California, US, and founded in 2013 by Ale Resnik and Owen Savir, Beepi, Inc. operates as a peer-to-peer used-car marketplace designed for buying and selling cars. The company's platform enables potential buyers to view available used cars online. In February 2016, the company raised venture capital funding from the ESO Fund.

In February 2017, Beepi, Inc. has completely shut down its operation and has been sold off in parts to repay creditors. Beepi uses a proprietary pricing algorithm that provides a good price based on the geographic market. If buyers like what they see online, they can purchase the car.

The company also offers prospective buyers immediate pre-approval for loans at check-out and buyers can pay for any car in the marketplace via bank transfer, cashier’s check, up to six different credit cards at once, or bitcoin. The company also launched Beepi Prime, its customized delivery service that serves 140 US cities. Beepi receives over 1,000 requests a week to sell cars from residents in the San Francisco Bay Area and has expanded into the Los Angeles market. It is making revenue at a rate of USD 15 million annually.

The company will use the venture funding to expand its offerings and simplify the process for buyers and sellers alike to new cities nationwide beyond San Francisco and newer markets Los Angeles and San Diego.
