Founded in 2017 and based in London, UK, BCB Group operates as a provider of payment and trading services for cryptocurrency and the digital asset economy across global financial services communities. It is a multi-jurisdictional regulated cryptocurrency firm. In January 2020 BCB Group's core operating subsidiary, BCB Payments Limited secured its Authorized Payment Solutions license from the UK Financial Conduct Authority. In January 2022 the company raised USD 60 million in series A funding co-led by Foundation Capital.

Tim Renew is the CEO. BCB Group's products include BCB business accounts which allow multi-currency transaction business solutions, BLINC which allows for the instant transfer of funds to another BCB customer, BCB Crypto which allows for the trading of any digital currency over the counter, BCB FX which allows for the trading of and settlement of over 30 currencies, BCB Yield which puts the user's money o work, and BCB Wallets and Custody which securely stores digital assets. Solutions and Services include BCB Treasury which is an all-in-one service for digital assets corporate treasury and BCB Wealth Partners which is a private wealth experience for digital assets. The company's executive team has worked for companies such as Barclays, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Investec.

BCB will use Series A funding to provide payments and market infrastructure across more regions as well as acquire strategic stakes in critical infrastructure partners. This will accelerate the company's offerings of dedicated payments and banking services.
