In December 2024, Beltone Capital agreed to acquire a majority stake in Baobab Group. As of January 2025, the company is led by its CEO, Philip Sigwart.  The company’s core offerings include microloans, business financing, and financial technology solutions designed to enhance accessibility and ease of use for clients who are typically underserved by traditional banking institutions.
