Based in Kochi, Kerala, and founded in 2016 by co-founders Ashfaq Ashraf and Anas D, Bagmo Pvt Ltd, trading as Bagmo, is a spin-out company of BIRAC’s Social Innovation Immersion program on maternal and child health. It focuses on solving the healthcare needs of the country using engineering innovations and operational management techniques. In June 2020, Bagmo raised USD 0. 04 million in seed funding from new investor Brinc.

As of February 2022, the company has monitored over twenty thousand blood bags under the blood center and storage centers. Bagmo platform offers products such as a blood bag monitoring system and a blood bank management system that monitor the storage conditions of blood bags during storage in the blood bank and during transportation; LoggFi is a wireless temperature logger that can be used in cold chain logistics. Quezone is an application to reduce the waiting time for patients at the hospital based on their token number status; iCMMS is an orderly, systematic, and computerised database designed to plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate the management of maintenance activities in an organization.
