Established in 2024 and based in Georgia, US, Axillon Aerospace, formerly known as Parker Hannifin Corp's North America Composites and Fuel Containment Division, provides engineered carbon fibre composite components and fuel containment solutions for the defence and commercial aerospace markets. In July 2024, SK Capital agreed to acquire Parker Hannifin Corp's North America Composites and Fuel Containment Division for USD 560 million. As of February 2025, the company is led by CEO Kevin Vicha. Axillon’s products include advanced composite airframe structures, secondary composite structures, and military interior panels.
The company manufactures aerodynamic and lightweight composite components for engines used in commercial and military aircraft, such as spacers, fairings, stators, exhaust flaps, inlet and outlet guide vanes, and variable bleed valves. Additionally, Axillon designs and produces civil and military radomes and antennas, supporting applications in electronic warfare, satellite communications, and navigation. Additionally, the firm is a provider of electro-thermal ice protection systems, integrating heating elements into composite materials to enhance durability and reduce weight. It also offers specialised fuel containment solutions, including crash-resistant fuel bladders, sealants, and coatings for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.
The July 2024 acquisition will help the company to further expand and accelerate its growth plans in the industrial field.
