Based in Bavaria, Germany, and founded in 2021, ARX Robotics GmbH operates as a developer of robotic systems for defense and commercial applications. In July 2025, ARX Robotics GmbH raised EUR 11 million in series A funding led by new investor Speedinvest, with participation from returning investor HV Capital.  ARX Robotics’ product line is centered around the GEREON series, a modular set of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) designed for a variety of uses. Key models include the GEREON RCS, a medium autonomous transportation platform; GEREON 3 and GEREON 2, light and ultralight multi-purpose platforms respectively; and the GEREON ATR, an armored autonomous target carrier. These systems are employed in defense scenarios such as reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, dynamic target training, and live-fire simulations, as well as commercial uses like disaster relief, cargo transport, surveillance, and mobile communication. The company will use the July 2025 funding for further development of its software-centric platform and expand its market reach.
