ARC Clean Energy, Inc. develops ARC-100, an advanced small modular reactor (aSMR), designed to generate zero-carbon, low-cost, baseload power for electrical and industrial applications of clients including governments, corporations, and utilities. The ARC-100 fast reactors can generate 100 megawatts of electricity and can work up to 20 years without any refueling. It also recycles and consumes its own waste and thus reduces the amount of long-term waste.
The company will use the funding to advance commercialization efforts for its reactor technology, support work with the U. S. Department of Energy, collaborate on global deployment initiatives, and continue its project development activities.
