Based in the UK, AQD (Aviation Quality Database), formerly known as Rolls-Royce Safety Management System (SMS) Business designed to capture vital safety, compliance, and risk data in a consistent and connected manner, supporting organizations in conveying critical insights to the right people at the right time. In April 2025, Comply365, LLC, a portfolio company of Liberty Hall Capital Partners and Insight Partners, acquired Rolls-Royce plc's SMS Business. As part of the transaction, Rolls-Royce plc's SMS Business now operate under AQD brand. AQD offers a fully integrated solution to ensure data collection and analysis activities.
It includes mobile applications for both iOS and Android devices with offline capabilities, allowing for the capture of incident reports, scoring checklists, and raising findings even without internet connectivity. The system supports customizable forms and reports, tailored event and root cause classification taxonomies, and aligns with industry standards such as IOSA and IATA IDX. AQD is a comprehensive safety and compliance management system utilized by over 90 operators across 45 countries. The April 2025 acquisition wil support AQD's growth and service offerings expansion.
