In February 2025, Brookfield Asset Management and CDPQ agreed to acquire Antylia Scientific from GTCR for approximately USD 1. 34 billion.
The transaction was completed in May 2025. Antylia Scientific manufactures and distributes business supplies and equipment, including pumps, chemicals, laboratory equipment, safety products, and laboratory supplies to scientific and engineering enterprises through its subsidiaries. The company also offers repairing, temperature probing, and calibration services to companies in the biopharma, environmental, and life sciences sectors. As of 2021, Cole-Parmer's portfolio of brands includes Masterflex®, Environmental Express®, Ismatec®, Cole-Parmer® Essentials, Oakton®, PCRmax®, SPEX®, Traceable®, and ZeptoMetrix.
The company plans to use the funding from May 2025 to strengthen its commercial strategy and procurement business and support its growth.
