Founded in 2018 by Alexander Hewitt and Samuel Burrow, and based in Bristol, UK, Anaphite Limited operates as a provider of Graphene-based materials for battery manufacturing. In December 2025, Anaphite Limited raised GBP 700,000 in series A funding from World Fund and Elbow Beach Capital. The round was part of a larger GBP 1. 4 million in equity and grant funding.

Anaphite creates cathode powders that include carbon nanotubes (CNTs) for use in dry-coated Li-ion battery electrodes. The firm's patented DCP® production technique enables the homogenous inclusion of advanced carbons into existing cathode materials such as NMC and LFP. This allows dry-coated electrodes to attain electrochemical performance comparable to wet-coated electrodes while eliminating the requirement for solvents, chemicals, and mixing.  The company generates revenue through selling graphene-enhanced cathode powders, licensing dry-coating technology, and industry partnerships.

The company intends to use the December 2025 funding to scale its dry-coating process for producing lithium‑iron‑phosphate cathodes and graphite anodes for batteries.
