Established in 2011 and based in Wuxi, China, Amte is a semiconductor company specializing in the development and production of semiconductor equipment. The company is headquartered in Wuxi and its manufacturing center is located in Nantong. The manufacturing center is equipped with more than 2,000 square meters of clean rooms and dust-free laboratories with special gas ventilation. It acquired certifications such as ISO9001 International Quality Management System Certification and National High-Tech Enterprise.

It has partnerships with BYD, Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics Co. ,Ltd. , CEC, and CAS Microelectronics. In January 2024, it raised a series D funding for over CNY 500 million.

The company's main business is the production of etching process equipment and thin film deposition process equipment. Its self-developed semiconductor equipment products such as SINO Plasma200TSV (a deep slot etcher), SINO ALD R200 (a R&D and small batch thin film deposition equipment), SINO Plasma100 Strip (an ICP plasma debinding machine), AMAT (Applied Materials) multi-cavity equipment platform P5000, SINO Plasma100 UV (a UV curing equipment), and so on. Its products are used in the pre-processing of compound semiconductors such as Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN).
