Based in Tennessee, US, and founded in 1994 by CEO William B. Smith, Alliance for Multispecialty Research, LLC, trading under the name, AMR Clinical, operates as a network of 32 sites, focused on executing Phase I-IV clinical trials in complex inpatient populations, special populations and healthy volunteers. In March 2022, Curewell Capital acquired AMR Clinical, as part of recapitalization. AMR Clinical's primary product is its network of clinical research centres that provide data collection, management, and statistical analysis services to ensure the quality and integrity of clinical trial data.
The facilities offer the infrastructure and expertise necessary to conduct Phase I to IV clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The company boasts a database of over 660,000 potential research participants, allowing them to efficiently identify qualified candidates for clinical trials. Additionally, the experience in patient recruitment and retention helps ensure studies are completed on time and within budget. AMR Clinical completed over 7,800 clinical trials and enrolled more than 150,000 research subjects.
The March 2024 investment supports AMR Clinical in expanding its business to new regions and providing improved services to its customers.
