Founded in 2019 and based in Taketa, Japan, Agriee Inc. delivers advanced agricultural solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability in farming through precision technology and machinery. In December 2024, Agriee Inc. raised pre-seed funding from investor East Ventures.

Agriee’s flagship offering is GrowthWatcher, a growth evaluation system based on satellite imagery. The system monitors and analyzes agricultural growth patterns, enabling better decision-making across multiple stakeholders. The service is tailored for crop producers and production organizations. It provides insights into crop growth, health, and yield forecasts.

This allows instructors from Japan Agricultural Cooperatives (JA) and extension staff in local governments to provide comprehensive tools for monitoring and advising on regional agricultural practices. For fruit buyers, this service facilitates informed purchasing decisions by providing data on crop conditions and expected yields, thus improving supply chain efficiency. Agriee Co. serves a diverse clientele, ranging from large agricultural enterprises to smallholder farms.

The December 2024 investment will accelerate the development of GrowthWatcher, expanding its market reach and supporting stable agricultural production under climate change.
