In March 2022, International Environmental Standards, PBC, a portfolio company of Brookfield Capital Partners, Carica Sustainable Investments, CPP Investment Board, Energy Impact Partners, Frontier Venture Capital, Global Reserve Group, Insight Partners, and Quantum Energy Partners, acquired Aeris Technologies Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

As of May 2022, the company is led by its CEO James Scherer. Aeris Technologies Inc. develops and commercializes laser-based gas analyzers for applications in environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, and industrial process control. The company's product includes MIRA Pico portable middle infrared laser-based gas analyzers which utilize a compact, pressure stabilized sensor core to reduce or eliminate calibration requirements in field applications; MIRA Ultra analyzers that combine the key features of the MIRA Pico with a temperature-stabilized sensor core; and MIRA Strato gas analyzer that able to switch between battery and power outlet without power interruptions, allowing continuous data collection even when the drone needs to recharge.
