Aeon Cyber Defense

Based in Nigeria, Aeon Cyber Defense was founded in 2026 by co-founders Samuel Ogbonyomi, Ben Eluan and Alex Idowu, who began building the company in February 2026 through PipeOps, a cloud infrastructure management platform. As of October 2026, the company is led by its CEO, Samuel Ogbonyomi. On 18 September 2026, Aeon Cyber Defense raised USD 1 million in pre-seed funding led by Terra Industries, with participation from Resilience17, Kaleo Ventures, DFS Labs, Ajim Capital and Seedstars, to develop its cybersecurity products, expand business development and convert existing pilots into commercial deployments. Aeon Cyber Defense develops cyber defence and compliance software and hardware for critical industries across the Global South, including banks and financial institutions, cloud providers and infrastructure operators.

Aeon Console is a web-based platform, built on the unified Aeon Core platform, that maps cloud resources, servers, containers, identities and exposed assets in one inventory, correlates vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and runtime signals, and routes remediation workflows to owners. It covers cloud-native protection, application security posture, detection and response, and continuous compliance against in-house, global and local regulatory frameworks. Aeon Edge is an on-site network protection device that discovers connected devices, monitors traffic, blocks unauthorised connections and sensitive data transfers, and isolates compromised devices.
