In October 2024, Adden Energy, Inc. raised USD 15 million in series A funding led by new investor At One Ventures, with participation from returning investors MassVentures, Primavera Capital, and Rhapsody Venture Partners.
The company is developing and scaling up a brand-new type of solid-state battery with demonstrated charge speeds as low as 3 minutes and capacity retention for over 10,000 cycles in a lab-scale cell. The firm is also developing technology that enables EVs all over the world and contributes to a cleaner future.
