Based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, and founded in 1967 by co-founders Paul Dubrule and Gérard Pélisson. AccorHotels Group operates a chain of hotels ranging from budget to upscale, midscale, economy, and budget hotel services led by its CEO Sebastien Marie Christophe Bazin. In May 2008, Colony Capital and Eurazeo invested EUR 3. 8 billion in AccorHotels Group.

Accor Hotels Group operates through three segments: HotelServices, Hotel assets and others, and new businesses. The company owns, operates, manages, and franchises hotels. It also provides digital solutions to independent hotel operators and restaurant owners through D-edge, ResDiary, and Adoria platforms; and hotel booking services for companies and travel agencies through Gekko solutions.
In addition, the company offers concierge services; and digital sales through VeryChic, which offers private sales with luxury and d upscale hotel rooms, as well as rents private luxury homes operated by onefinestay.
