Returning investors InBC Investment, Emmertech, BDC Capital, James Richardson & Sons, Limited, Stray Dog Capital, and Seraph Group also participated in the round. 4AG Robotics provides a solution to the mushroom harvesting problem through a mushroom harvesting robot. The company offers services for managing the operation of the harvesting system, including thinning, stem trimming, packaging, and conveyance out of the growing room, during a 2-flush growth cycle on their partner farm. In addition, the firm provides support to farmers to improve the quality of yields and manage labor shortage issues.
The company will use the funding to expand production of its mushroom-harvesting robot fleet.
