Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and founded in 2022 by co-founders Dor Fledel and Ariel Kadyshevitch, Spera Cybersecurity Ltd. , aka Spera, provides a platform that helps identity security professionals measure, prioritize, and reduce identity risk to protect the organization from identity-based attacks. In March 2023, Spera Cybersecurity Ltd. raised USD 10 million in seed funding from new investor YL Ventures.

The company platform creates a real-time, continuously updated, risk- and context-based inventory of identities and access across cloud and on-premises environments. The inventory analyzes, assesses, and normalizes, arming security teams with critical granular insights for remediating and preventing identity-driven attacks. Spera’s identity schema normalizes this data and performs risk classification in the usage analysis based on severity and risk, allowing teams to focus on the most critical issues. Through identity threat detection and response (ITDR), we can prevent new risks, ensure that identity policies are implemented and adhered to, and track risk reduction and least-privilege metrics.
