In private markets, where data is typically hard to acquire (and especially so for ESG), access to clear, comparable, and standardized ESG data enables them to make better informed decisions.Similarly, Preqin’s ESG Transparency KPIs gave the firm visibility of the level of disclosure on ESG governance, policies, and regulatory practices in the industry, enabling them to conduct more comprehensive market research and competitor analysis. With data-driven insight into how ESG is being adopted and applied more broadly in the alternatives space, they are able to effectively benchmark the sustainability credentials of their firm.

Preqin provides more than just data for Orchard Global. Through direct collaboration with their account manager at Preqin, they have been able to pinpoint the areas where their approach to ESG integration and transparency could be optimized.With newfound insight into evolving requirements and approaches to sustainability in alternatives, Orchard Global is eager to build on their relationship with Preqin. To this end, they hope to leverage the market transparency provided by Preqin ESG Solutions to further integrate ESG considerations into their fact-finding process, while also exploring new product functionalities as we launch them.
