Meet the speakers

Leon Sinclair
Head of Preqin Product, BlackRock
Leon Sinclair is Head of Product for Preqin, a part of BlackRock. He is responsible for the vision and strategy for Preqin's product development, helping meet clients' evolving private markets data and analytics needs while driving commercial growth. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and has held senior leadership roles at ICE Data Services, IHS Markit and S&P Global. Prior to joining Preqin, Leon was Global Head and Managing Director of S&P's Private Equity and Debt Services business. Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships across the alternatives industry, participated in regulatory engagement initiatives, and developed deep expertise in the private markets ecosystem.

Fabien Chen
Head of Preqin Benchmarks, BlackRock
Fabien Chen is Head of Benchmarks at Preqin, part of BlackRock, where he leads the development and expansion of Preqin's global benchmark solutions. Previously Head of APAC Strategy at Preqin and a member of the APAC leadership team, Fabien brings nearly 15 years of experience in strategy and corporate finance. Prior to joining Preqin, he led teams at McKinsey & Company across strategy, corporate finance and digital engagements, having begun his career at PwC Corporate Finance and CIMB Investment Bank. Fabien holds a BA in Economics, Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester and an MBA from INSEAD.
