Australian multi-family office Mutual Trust has added Kirsten Taylor-Martin as Partner, Family Office Advisory, in Sydney. She advises multi-generational families on governance, succession, and structuring.
The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has appointed Sam Brodie as Head of Strategic Tilting. He has worked at the sovereign wealth fund's manager, the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, for 13 years, after earlier risk and performance roles at Bloomberg, ANZ, and NZX.
Andreessen Horowitz will establish a West Palm Beach regional headquarters for its American Dynamism fund. The Florida office will support investment activity across defense, aerospace, manufacturing, and related sectors.
Ariel Investments has named Rodney Cohen as Co-CEO and CIO of Ariel Alternatives, and Melody Rollins as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Distribution.
Los Angeles-based real estate and infrastructure manager CIM Group has hired Adam Lerer as Managing Director, Investments, in its real estate equity team. He joins from PIMCO Prime Real Estate, where he was Head of Acquisitions, Americas and led its Special Situations Group in the region.
CVC will appoint Todd Sisitsky and Peter Rutland as Co-CEOs by the first quarter of 2028, when current CEO Rob Lucas steps back. Sisitsky will join from TPG, where he has been President since 2021, while Rutland is CVC President.
UK-based software-focused private equity firm FPE has promoted Ben Cole to Partner. He joined in 2019 and has helped build the firm's direct origination capability, as well as leading marketing and portfolio talent initiatives.
US-based venture capital firm Felicis has hired Tony Shi as an Investment Partner focused on researcher and student founders, particularly in AI and deep technology. He previously worked at Redpoint Ventures, Pear VC, and Dorm Room Fund.
Frazier Healthcare Partners will add Tom Rodgers as Senior Partner in October. He most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at McKesson.
GoldenTree Asset Management has hired Ellen Conti as CFO and Partner.
Grant Avenue Capital has appointed Edie Connor as Director of Executive Talent. She joins from Oxeon, where she worked on C-suite searches for healthcare technology and services companies.
Private credit firm Great Rock Capital has promoted Christina Zielinski to Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Originations, and Jake Goldberg to Head of Capital Markets.
HarbourView Equity Partners has hired Patrick Morin as Managing Director of Business Development. He joins from Cambridge Associates, where he oversaw client solutions in healthcare and regional endowments and foundations.
Harrison Street has named Dan Fanelli and James Choi as Co-Heads of its US investor solutions group. Dan Kim has also joined as Managing Director in Chicago, focused on infrastructure.
Alternative asset manager ICG has appointed Augustin Segard and Grégoire Castres Saint Martin to establish and lead a European infrastructure debt strategy. Segard joins in London from Schroders Capital, where he was Head of Junior Infrastructure Debt. Castres Saint Martin joins in Paris from Antin Infrastructure Partners' financing team.
Jeito Capital has promoted Pascal Touchon and Claudio Costa-Neto to Partner, with Costa-Neto also becoming Chief Scientific Officer. Annette Clancy and Samit Hirawat have been named as Operating Partners.
Menlo Ventures has named Alex Kurland as a Partner to help lead growth-stage investing in AI-native infrastructure, software, and fintech. He was previously a Partner at Meritech Capital and Kleiner Perkins.
US middle-market private equity firm Mill Point Capital has hired Michael Kaplan as Managing Partner and a member of its Investment Committee. He spent more than two decades at Littlejohn & Co.
India-based alternative asset manager National Investment and Infrastructure Fund has appointed Gauravjit Singh as Managing Partner – Global Head of Capital Formation. He joins from PAG's private equity business in Singapore, where he led investor relations and fundraising.
Nuveen has named Robert Rdzak as Managing Director, Consultant Relations. He will lead engagement with institutional investment consultants across North America.
Switzerland-based private markets firm Partners Group has opened a Stockholm office to deepen its presence in the Nordics. The office will be led by Carina Spitzkopf, Head of Direct Lending DACH & Nordics.
US-based private markets investment provider PPB Capital Partners has named Olivia Eisinger as Chief Growth Officer and Anthony Wilson as Head of Strategic Partnerships. They will focus on expanding the firm's wealth-management relationships. Eisinger previously held roles at TD Ameritrade and Apex, while Wilson spent 10 years at iCapital.
Paris-based growth equity firm Revaia has appointed Marc-Etienne Mercadier as Partner to co-lead its new energy transition strategy. He joins from Eiffel Investment Group, where he was Director and Head of Strategy.
US-based life sciences firm Sofinnova Investments has added Merdad Parsey as Executive Partner, Private Equity. He joins from Gilead Sciences, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, after earlier roles at Genentech/Roche and 3-V Biosciences.
US-based private investment firm The Vistria Group has named Jeff Hawkins as Head of its Portfolio Resources Group. Hawkins has held senior roles at TPG, Aon, and AlixPartners. Jon Samuels will move to Senior Partner, Chief Impact and Policy Officer.
Warburg Pincus has appointed James von Moltke as Senior Advisor and Executive-in-Residence in Europe. The former Deutsche Bank President and CFO will focus on financial and technology investments and portfolio value creation across the region.
Akin has added Kimberly Rowe as a Corporate Partner in Los Angeles, Andrej Kormuth as project development Partner in Dubai, and investment management Partners Andrea Dougall and Marie-Sophie Bandeira Vieira in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively.
Cooley has hired Michael Black as a Partner in its fund formation practice in Chicago. Joining from Kirkland & Ellis, he advises on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds.
DLA Piper has added three Partners: Ari Feder in New York, Brittany Turner in San Francisco, and Cillian Moynihan in London. Their practices span investment funds, venture capital, and private equity.
Foley & Lardner has hired Stephen Olson as a Partner in its transactions practice in Houston. Previously at Gibson Dunn, he focuses on private equity M&A, joint ventures, and capital-raising deals.
Gibson Dunn has added James Johnson and Victoria Delacey as Partners in London. Their practices focus on data centers and digital infrastructure, including acquisitions, leasing, and customer contracts.
Jones Day has hired Ariele Cohen as a Partner in its corporate practice in New York. She advises sponsors on fund formation and operations, and institutional investors on private equity, real estate, and other investments.
Linklaters has named Mark Gordon as Americas Managing Partner and Co-Chair of global M&A, effective November. He joins from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
Milbank has added Lucas Charleston as a Partner in its alternative investments practice in New York. He advises on finance and restructuring matters, including special situations and capital solutions.
Mintz has hired Mark Shaffer as a Member of its investment funds practice in New York. He has more than 20 years of private funds regulatory experience.
NautaDutilh has named Boudewijn Smit as Managing Partner of its New York office and lead Dutch Finance Transactions counsel in the US. His practice includes acquisition finance, direct lending, restructuring, and distressed situations.
Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Simon Woodcock as a Real Estate Partner in London. Joining from Goodwin Procter, he advises on real estate investments, landlord and tenant matters, and asset management, among other areas.
Paul Hastings has added Jean Park as a Capital Markets Partner in New York and Silicon Valley. She joins from Cooley and advises on securities offerings, private financings, and M&A, particularly in technology and healthcare.
Paul, Weiss has hired Eric Perelman as a Partner in its investment funds group in New York. He advises private fund and asset managers on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters affecting fund structures and operations.
Reed Smith has added Nathan Noh as a Partner in its global corporate group and Robert Fox as Senior Managing Director of Private Equity. Noh joins in New York from Cravath, while Fox joins in Century City from McGuireWoods.
Sidley Austin has hired Michael Alcan as a Partner in its tax practice in Century City. He joins from Kirkland & Ellis and advises on fund formation, restructurings, continuation funds, GP stakes, and fund finance.
Weil has made three Partner additions to its US private capital practices. Damian Ridealgh has returned to the banking and finance practice in New York. In San Francisco, Jonathan Stott and Michael Hanna have joined the private equity group from Dechert and Kirkland & Ellis, respectively.
UK-based wealth and investment manager St. James's Place has named Justin Onuekwusi as CEO, Investments, after he served in the role on an interim basis. He joined as CIO in 2023 after a decade at Legal & General Investment Management.
Alantra has appointed Zak Chaudary as Managing Director in its financial institutions group in London. He will lead the firm’s significant risk transfer arranging activity. He joins from Deutsche Bank.
US-based investment bank D.A. Davidson has hired Tim Meyer and Ted Speyer as Managing Directors in its Capital Advisory Group. Meyer will lead private placements after joining from TD Cowen, while Speyer will focus on East Coast sponsor coverage after moving from Stout.
US-based investment bank Guggenheim Securities has hired Dan Daul as a Senior Managing Director in technology investment banking, based in Chicago. He will focus on application software and fintech. Daul joins from William Blair, where he was Vice Chairman of Technology Investment Banking.
Houlihan Lokey has appointed Mayra Fregonesi as a Managing Director in its financial sponsors group in São Paulo to lead Latin America coverage. She joins from Patria Investments, where she was Global Head of Key Accounts.
Lazard has named Daniel Burton-Morgan as Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory, North America, based in New York, and Niul Wood as Managing Director in its EMEA industrials and chemicals team in London. Grégoire Heuzé has also joined as Managing Director in Paris as Lazard acquires his advisory firm, Altamoda.
Moelis & Company has hired Greg Guest as a Managing Director in its private capital advisory group. He joins from Capital One, where he was Head of Capital Solutions.
Prime Capital Financial has appointed Mark Hays as President of its new endowments and foundations practice. He joins from Glenmede, after earlier roles at Cambridge Associates and JP Morgan Asset Management.
US investment bank William Blair will bring Pete Dalrymple back as Managing Director and Vice Chair of Investment Banking, based in Boston. He spent more than 14 years at the firm, most recently as Global Head of Technology Investment Banking.
