Anthony Habgood joined Preqin as Chairman in November 2011. He is also Chairman of Reed Elsevier and Whitbread plc, and became Chair of the Court of Directors of the Bank of England in July 2014. He has previously been Chairman of Bunzl plc and of Mölnlycke Healthcare Limited, and served as Chief Executive of Bunzl plc, Chief Executive of Tootal Group plc and a director of The Boston Consulting Group lnc. He has also been a non-executive director of Geest plc, Marks and Spencer plc, National Westminster Bank plc, Powergen plc, and SVG Capital plc. Anthony holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a visiting Fellow at Oxford University.
George Siguler is a Founding Partner of Siguler Guff, a global private equity investment firm with over $10 billion of assets under management. Prior to founding Siguler Guff, he was a Managing Director and head of PaineWebber's Private Equity Group. Mr. Siguler served in the Reagan Administration as Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He was a Founding Partner of the Harvard Management Company and also served as Associate Treasurer of Harvard University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of MSCI and the Pension Advisory Committee of the International Monetary Fund. He is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and a Director of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Center for Asian Pacific Policy at the RAND Corporation and a member of RAND's U.S.-Russia Business Leaders Forum. Mr. Siguler holds an A.B. from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
David Brierwood joined Preqin's Board as a Non-Executive Director in August 2014. David holds a wealth of experience in investment data analytics and solutions, most recently in his role as Chief Operating Officer of MSCI, which he held from 2006 to February 2014. MSCI is a leading provider of investment decision support tools, including indexes, portfolio risk and performance analytics, and ESG data and research. Prior to his role at MSCI, David worked for Morgan Stanley for 20 years and held a variety of senior positions, including Global Risk Manager of the Morgan Stanley Equity Division and Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley’s Institutional and Retail Securities Group. He also led Morgan Stanley’s firm-wide program to implement global regulation relating to Basel II and the SEC’s Consolidated Supervisory Entity agreements. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Material Science from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College at the University of London, and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Lindy O’Hare has been a major shareholder and Director of Preqin since its formation in 2003 and worked in the business from 2004 to 2008. She has a degree in English from University of Natal, Pietrmaritzburg, and studied Contemporary Art at Goldsmiths College. She represents the O’Hare family’s interests in the business.
