Preqin’s extensive research shows that the top five private equity firms headquartered in Eastern Europe, ranked according to total funds raised in the last 10 years, are Baring Vostok Capital Partners, Enterprise Investors, Russia Partners, Innova Capital and PPF Partners.
Baring Vostok Capital Partners, based in Russia, is a private equity firm focusing on buyout investments in Russia and throughout Eastern Europe. The firm’s current portfolio is diversified across financial services, oil and gas, consumer products, telecommunications and media. Baring Vostok Capital Partners has raised EUR 1.5 billion over the last decade and has an estimated EUR 500 million in dry powder. Enterprise Investors is a buyout-focused firm headquartered in Poland. The firm invests in Poland, Romania and Slovakia across a range of sectors including financial services, manufacturing, communications and healthcare.
Enterprise Investors has raised EUR 960 million over the last 10 years and has an estimated EUR 220 million in dry powder. Russia Partners headquartered in Russia with offices also in the Ukraine and US is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siguler Guff & Company.
Russia Partners is a growth-focused private equity house that targets investment opportunities in a diversified range of sectors including advertising, publishing, logistics, media and telecommunications. Russia Partners has raised EUR 820 million over the last decade and has an estimated dry powder of EUR 364 million.
