Opplysningsvesenets Fond is looking to make various follow-on commitments to existing private equity real estate funds in the next 12 months. However, it is unlikely the government agency will allocate to any fund managers it has not allocated to before. 54% of Opplysningsvesenets Fond’s real estate portfolio is invested in private equity real estate. It has allocated to Nordic vehicles and other European funds, including an opportunistic vehicle that targets distressed sellers and Asian funds. Most of the private equity real estate funds it has invested in are sector-specific. It has invested in office, logistics, hotels and apartment funds. Opplysningsvesenets Fond makes most of its commitments independently. Another 6% of the government agency’s portfolio is allocated to other types of indirect property funds and the remaining 40% is invested directly.
