Preqin Investor Network has launched its new Enhanced Fund Listings service, now available to investors. The new features, available to accredited investors using the Preqin Investor Network platform, are designed to make the early stages of the due diligence process easier. For the past 18 months, Preqin Investor Network users have been able to see information on all private equity, real estate, and infrastructure funds seeking capital, but now Enhanced Fund Listings makes it possible to access, review and download the key fund information usually found in initial fund marketing materials in a clear and standardized format. These new features allow investors to compare opportunities side-by-side, making it easier to find the best funds.

With 5,200 individuals across 3,100 investing institutions using the service, Preqin Investor Network provides investors with key tools to help source and undertake due diligence on new private equity, real estate, infrastructure and hedge fund vehicles, and more are signing up to the service every day.

What does this mean for fund managers and placement agents? Fund managers and placement agents that profile their fund or their clients’ funds on Preqin Investor Network already benefit from a new source of leads, as investors use the service to reach out to funds they are interested in. A standard listing on Preqin Investor Network is free and quick to set up. Preqin’s new Enhanced Fund Listings service allows investors to request key fund information directly from the manager – the manager accepts or rejects the request and as this is reverse-solicitation, there are no regulatory issues.
