The GBP 461 million pension fund invests through its 7% target allocation to real estate. Henderson Global Investors – Property manages its property allocation. Henderson is considering investing in a pan-European fund on behalf of the pension fund towards the end of the year. Henderson is waiting for the most appropriate time to make investments, and feels that Q3-Q4 2010 could be the optimum time. The pension fund expects that a commitment of GBP 5-7 million will be made to a lower-risk property vehicle.
