About

Exelon Corporation Pension Fund provides a defined benefit plan for the employees of the company and its subsidiaries. The Vice President of Health and Benefits administers the pension fund together with similar human resource parties of the company. Exelon Corporation is a Chicago-based energy provider. Its family of companies includes energy generation, power marketing, transmission, and energy delivery. In July 2014, Constellation Energy Pension merged with Exelon Corporation Pension Fund following the March 2012 acquisition of Constellation Energy by Exelon Corporation. In March 2016, Exelon Corporation and Pepco Holdings successfully merged, which allowed Exelon Corporation to acquire the assets of Pepco Holdings. As a result of Spin-off completed on February 1, 2022, the portion of Plan assets were transferred to Constellation Retirement Program by December 31, 2022.
