Brunel Pension Partnership is the collective investment pool for Avon Pension Fund, Cornwall Council Pension Fund, Devon County Council Pension Fund, Dorset County Council Pension Fund, Gloucestershire County Council, Somerset County Council Pension Fund, Wiltshire Pension Fund, Oxfordshire County Council Pension Fund, Buckinghamshire County Council Pension Fund, and Environment Agency Pension Funds. In July 2015, the UK government released its summer budget, announcing that it would work with the Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) to reform how investments are managed. As part of the reform, the government ordered the 89 Local Government Pension Schemes to combine assets into large investment pools. In April 2018, the ten local authority pension funds began a phased transition of assets over to Brunel Pension Partnership.
