West Elk

West Elk is a Georgia-based hedge fund manager that manages the West Elk Partners founded in 2017. The firm seeks to achieve capital appreciation and generate high absolute returns over the long term while limiting the risk of permanent loss of capital. Under normal circumstances, its holdings principally include debt and equity securities; however, the strategy may invest in any securities or other financial instruments in implementing its strategies. In this regard, West Elk may invest in, without limitation, common stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and exchange-traded notes (including commodity and fixed income-related exchange-traded funds and exchange-traded notes) preferred stocks, convertible securities, warrants, rights, options (including covered and uncovered puts and calls and over-the-counter options), commodities, futures contracts on financial instruments, credit default swaps, and other derivative instruments, debt securities (including corporate debt) and money market instruments.
