VI Asset Management Korea

VI Asset Management (VIAM) is an asset management group with over US$ 11 billion in assets under management and specialist competence in private markets. VIAM was established in 2016 to capitalise on opportunities in the Asian asset management industry with the aim of fuelling entrepreneurship at all stages. Since its inception, the firm has invested heavily in its local infrastructure platforms including local licenses, offices, and technology. This has notably included expanding into the Korean market in 2019 with the acquisition of VI Asset Management Korea (formally Hi Asset Management Co., Ltd.). Today, the firm’s products cover the full investment spectrum with various strategies under credit, equity, multi-strategy, and private capital solutions.
