Vector Capital is a private equity firm with a mission to create start-up momentum for existing technology companies. Vector Capital spun out of Ziff Brothers Investments, a family investment firm, in 1997. The firm typically invests in bootstrapped companies, spin-outs from larger corporations, consolidators of industries, or public companies undergoing significant change. Vector's main sector focus is on communications infrastructure, enterprise software and technology-enabled services. Vector Capital's credit strategy pursues a broad range of investment opportunities including syndicate debt, secondary market trades and direct lending.
