Two Trees Investment Management had been a global macro hedge fund manager based in Sydney. The firm had combined a deep understanding of financial economics, quantitative techniques, and risk management to construct liquid, diversified, absolute return multi-asset portfolios. It had been established in 2017 by Craig Louis, a former research manager of systematic global macro strategies at Grantham Mayo van Otterloo & Co (GMO), a global fund manager headquartered in Boston. The establishment of Two Trees Investment Management had been sponsored by Pinnacle Fund Services (a subsidiary of multi-affiliate manager Pinnacle Investment Management), and it had served as the responsible entity of the Two Trees Global Macro Fund. The firm had been integrated into Plato Investment Management and had been renamed Plato Systematic Global Macro on 8 August 2022.
