Triada Capital

Established in 2015, Triada Capital is a multi-strategy credit asset hedge fund manager based in Hong Kong. It focuses on generating alpha returns by taking long/short credit positions which are derived from fundamental research and analysis of Pan-Asia corporate issuers’ credit quality and event/special situations. The firm manages its flagship Triada Asia Credit Opportunities Fund, a Pan-Asian credit long/short hedge fund. Its investments are predominantly in liquid instruments spanning across distressed, high-yield, cross-over, and investment-grade corporate credits. The fund’s regional coverage is mainly in Pan-Asia, which includes Japanese, Australian, and some Middle Eastern bond issuers. It pursues a multi-strategies approach by deploying and tagging credit trades by the following three sub-strategies: credit events, relative value, and value investments. The investment team seeks opportunities from corporate events and special situations based on credit analysis and a deep-dive fundamental approach. It takes positions that capture dislocations in market prices premised on the view of fair valuation of credit securities relative to the projected credit quality of the issuer. Rate exposure and currency exposure outside of USD are hedged systematically.
