TD Global Investment Solutions ("TDGIS") represents the institutional asset management businesses of TD Bank Group. The firm brings together over three decades of investment experience, offering investment solutions to institutional, intermediary and corporate investors. TD Global Investment Solutions comprises two asset management firms, each with its own specialized focus and expertise: TD Asset Management Inc. ("TDAM") is known for providing innovative solutions to clients, with broad expertise across traditional and alternative solutions in public and private markets. In certain jurisdictions, TDAM also offers customizable services such as currency overlay, bond overlay, hedging, asset mix rebalancing and liability-driven investment solutions. Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. ("TD Epoch") provides U.S., Non-U.S., and global investment strategies with a unified investment approach that combines fundamental research with quantitative tools to help identify companies that can grow free cash flow and allocate it effectively for the benefit of shareholders. The TDAM and TD Epoch investment teams operate independently and maintain distinct investment philosophies. This provides TD Global Investment Solutions with diversity of thought as we collaborate with our clients to help them meet their investment objectives. Toronto-Dominion Securities Inc. was incorporated in 1987. At the time of incorporation, an Investment Management division was created within the broader entity. In 1990, the Institutional Indexing group was formed within the Investment Management division with a mandate to manage assets on behalf of institutional investors. In January 1996, Toronto Dominion Securities Inc. was reorganized separating the broker-dealer, which was renamed TD Securities Inc., and the investment manager, which was amalgamated with Lancaster Investment Counsel Inc. to form TD Asset Management Inc. In February 2023, TD Global Investment Solutions was launched to represent the asset management businesses of TD globally, which includes TD Asset Management Inc. and Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. adopted a new moniker, TD Epoch.
