Takura Capital

Takura Capital is a Zimbabwe-based private equity firm that makes growth investments in addition to employing recapitalisation and restructuring strategies. The firm seeks to acquire majority or significant stakes in companies based in Zimbabwe or the SADC region and prefers to provide a capital injection as opposed to buying out existing investors. Takura Capital has a diversified industry focus, with a preference for industries that take advantage of the recovery of Zimbabwe's economy, such as mining support services, health and pharmaceuticals, IT, fast-moving consumer goods, and agro-processing. The firm is partly owned by Zimbabwe-based private equity firm African Century.
