SBI Private Equity

SBI Private Equity, a subsidiary of SBI Korea Holdings, is a firm that provides a venture capital on Korea-based companies operating in a wide range of industries. In 2011, SBI Private Equity launched its maiden private equity vehicle, NPS-SBI Pan-Asia Fund alongside other affiliates of SBI Holdings, such as SBI Investment Korea and SBI Investment Partners. The fund is an Asia-focused balanced vehicle that invests in a wide range of industries, such as natural resources, IT and clean technology sectors. The fund invests in growth stage companies and seeks buyout opportunities. The fund also allocates a proportion of its capital to investments in listed companies. The majority of the fund's capital will be allocated to South Korean companies seeking to expand into Asia while the remaining 40% will be invested in other Asian countries.
