SafeRE is a Singapore-based real estate owner & investment manager founded by Chris Werner. The firm currently manages the SafeGuard Platinum Real Estate Fund (Spain), the Asia Hospitality Capital platform, and several mandates investing in global real estate. SafeRE invests across the capital stack, in strategies ranging from core to distressed, in hospitality travel/accommodation related themes that benefit from the fast growing global middle-class and associated trends. The firm has also invested in prime real estate projects (W-Hotel, Aloft, and several luxury residential developments) in Madrid and Barcelona, and developed five Go Hotels in the Philippines, mixed use and student housing projects in Germany and the UK. SafeRE comprises an experienced in-house team, alongside experienced advisors and external counsel. The firm is currently fundraising for European and Asian Accommodation Funds, direct student accommodation investments, its Asian Hospitality Capital unit, and the block-chain-based digital real estate investment platform. SafeRE was rebranded from SafeGuard Real Estate Management in 2023.
