Runway Growth Capital

Runway Growth Capital is a US-based venture debt firm that provides financing for late and growth-stage companies in the technology, healthcare, and consumer industries. The firm manages a public BDC, Runway Growth Finance Corp., as well as private LP funds. Runway Growth Capital lends to both sponsored and non-sponsored companies. Sponsored target companies must have raised Series A or later and have a proven product. The firm typically invests in companies with meaningful "soft assets" and generally does not lend to leveraged buyout transactions, or hard asset or capital-intensive businesses, including restaurants, retail, and real estate. Companies look to Runway to fund their growth, oftentimes as an alternative to raising equity.
