Established in 2011, Regan Capital is a Texas-based hedge fund manager. It provides opportunities to invest in distressed, collateralized real estate securities. The firm's principal focus is on mortgage-backed securities (currently concentrated in non-agency MBS/mortgage-backed securities), but it can invest in other real estate debt securities. Roughly half the portfolio consists of buy-and-hold investments with the objective of maximizing carry or yield and minimizing interest rate duration.
